REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER ARRESTED IN BAY SHORE

Daniel Rodriguez, a 45 year old registered sex offender who sexually abused a juvenilefemale victim, was arrested today as a result of an investigation by detectives from the SpecialVictims Section.  He is charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, Promoting a SexualPerformance of a Child, Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance and Failure to Register as a sexoffender.  Rodriguez, of 1126 Udall Road, Bay Shore, was convicted of Rape 1st Degree in 1992and was required to register as a sex offender.  Detectives are asking anyone with informationabout Rodriguez to call Special Victims Section detectives at 631-852-6184 or anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
