PHOENIX – A recent operation by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations’ Phoenix office has arrested more than two dozen individuals suspected of child sex crimes.
Operation Silent Predator was an undercover operation targeting the demand for child sex crimes and human trafficking.
During the operational period, officers and undercover detectives placed ads on websites and apps which are commonly sought out by suspects seeking illegal sex acts with children.

A Minnesota man was convicted Tuesday of raping his then girlfriend’s four-year-old twin daughters and giving them a sexually transmitted disease, according to a report.
Arturo Macarro Gutierrez, 36, was arrested in October 2018 after one of the girls told her grandmother her “daddy” hurt her, the Pioneer Press reported. The girl was taken to the hospital where she tested positive for gonorrhea.
Gutierrez was arrested after a SWAT team found him hiding in an attic at a home in St. Paul.

STOCKTON — A man who was convicted in December of numerous sex crimes against his own minor daughter and the daughter of his girlfriend was sentenced Monday in San Joaquin County Superior Court to 135 years to life in state prison, District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar announced in a statement.
The victims were 9 and 11 years old at the time the crimes were committed. They include oral copulation and lewd and lascivious acts, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) — Parlier police say Crescencio Lopez is suspected of sexually forcing himself on two female victims – a woman in her 40’s and a minor.

“People are fearful,” says Parlier Police Sgt. Dan Barcellos.

According to police, the investigation started early last month.

A minor claimed a man was stalking her and following her to school.

“We didn’t have any leads on that at the time,” Barcellos said. “We didn’t have a name or a vehicle.”

A repeat sex offender with a criminal history dating to 1982 is charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Las Vegas girl, according to police reports and court records.

156 years. That’s how long 39-year-old Jay Holliday was sentenced to spend behind bars in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
Holliday, who took a plea deal back in January, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of sexual battery and 12 counts of felonious assault – the latter of which were for sexual conduct with a minor while knowing that he was a carrier of AIDS. Holliday will also have to register as a Tier 3 sex offender.
