A Higbee man was arrested Thursday after being charged with seven felonies for alleged sex crimes against a minor under 12 years old.

Bryan Hackstadt, 21, is facing three counts of second-degree child molestation, two counts of statutory sodomy, one charge of sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 and one charge of child endangerment involving sexual conduct.

Hackstadt was the target of an investigation by the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team, a division of the Department of Social Services which investigates crimes involving the abuse, sexual exploitation

Craig Maurizi, a onetime Olympic hopeful turned Olympic coach, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against famed figure skating coach Richard Callaghan and a trio of skating institutions, including U.S. Figure Skating, the sport’s national governing body.

BLACKFOOT — A former Idaho State University employee on felony probation for embezzling over $100,000 from the school now faces seven decades in prison for possessing child pornography, according to court records.
Bingham County prosecutors have charged Tyler Gene Liddle, 32, of Blackfoot, with five counts of felony sexual exploitation of a child stemming from an Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children and U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigation, according to the Idaho Office of the Attorney General news release.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — A 20-year-old Altoona man is facing 10 to 20 years in prison after rendering guilty pleas Friday in Blair County Court to rape and related sex crimes involving three girls in 2019.
Dylan Patrick Weatherwalk was expected to go on trial in August but advised President Judge Elizabeth Doyle on Friday that he would render guilty pleas for the recommended sentence.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Multiple former students of San Diego’s Christian Youth Theater, known as CYT, are coming forward with stories of sexual assault, abuse and misconduct.
On the phone Tuesday, the president of CYT confirmed that one of her own close family members claims that he was even abused when he was in CYT many years ago.
On its Facebook page, the El Cajon-based theater group has acknowledged recent accusations of sex abuse from former students.

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman when she attended Calvary Gospel Church in Madison as a girl is being charged in Dane County court with two felonies related to the alleged abuse.
Glen Uselmann, of Columbus, is charged with second degree sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child under 13, according to a criminal complaint from Madison Police filed in Dane County court on July 15. Uselmann’s initial appearance in court is scheduled for Aug. 6.
The charges come after a Cap Times
