Joanne Leger-Legault, an award-winning high school teacher has been accused of having’intimate sexual relationships’ with two of her students, kissing a third on the lips andexchanging inappropriate texts and emails with a third.  Leger-Legault, from Ottawa, Canada,is a former teacher of A.Y. Jackson Secondary School and Merivale High School.  She pleaded nocontest and did not dispute any of the facts when they were presented.  She admitted sheviolated student/teacher boundaries by engaging in inappropriate relations with a total of fourstudents.

David Branson Ferguson, a 71 year old Scottish pensioner accused of raping and murdering,Stanislav Lagoshevtsi Mirchov, an 11 year old boy in Bulgaria, has told police he did it forrevenge after the youngster killed his pet dogs.  The boy’s body was discovered earlier thisweek nearly a month after he went missing from his home.  Ferguson has shown no remorse forthe alleged killing, displays little respect and even laughs about the boy’s death.  He saysthe boy deserved to die for poisoning his dogs some time ago.

Bethyl Shepherd, a 35 year old special education teacher, admitted having sex with a 17 yearold student and oral sex with six other teens.  She has been jailed in Nevada and was told shemust serve 60 days behind bars, despite pleas from the victims’ parents that she be spared thetime.  Even prosecutors said they did not want the mother of two jailed after it was revealedbi-polar disorder cold have fueled her sexual misconduct.

Patrick Lott, Bernardsville Middle School assistant principal, has been arrested forallegedly recording boys showering at Immaculata High School in Somerset County, New Jersey wherehe was a volunteer.  Nine of the boys videotaped were under 16 years old, a total of 22victims have been notified.  Lott now faces charges including child endangerment.
