Ferosa Bluff, 27, and Andrew Fedorowicz, 46, received the maximum sentence for torturing, sexually abusing and

killing Bluff’s 3 year old daughter.  They received between 5 years and life for murder and 1 to 15 years for felony

sexual abuse.  Although both will be eligible for parole in 7 years, it is likely that both killers will spend the rest of their lives behind bars.  Bluff moved to Utah from Mountainview, Alta., and Fedorowicz is originally from Ontario.

A Stuyvesant New York High School assistant principal pleaded guilty to sexually abusing severalfemale students. Richard Plass, 55 admitted to showing pornographic videos and having intimatephysical contact with a 15-year-old student. He faced one year in jail but instead only got 3 yearsprobation and was forced to retire with his full pension. He was also forced to give up histeachers license for three years and stay away from public and private schools for three years.Unbelievable… three years probation and he will have his license back in three years.Justice?

Erick Rodriguez, 43, was convicted in abstentia of attempted rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and incest.  He sexually assaulted his 10 year old daughter almost nightly for eight months.  He has been captured in Arizona and will return to New York to serve his sentence.  Rodriguez was free on only $10,000 bail when he skipped town in the middle of his trial.  He got the maximum sentence, a possible 61 years in prison.  

A 15-year-old camp counselor in training at a camp in Freehold New Jersey was charged with the aggravated sexual assault of an 8-year-old boy.  He is accused of sodomizing the boy at least 5 times at the Briar Hill Camp.

Jesse Timmendequas, 38, was convicted of luring 7 year old Megan Kanka into his home and raping and strangling her in 1994.  The twice convicted sex offender lived across the street from the Kanka’s in quiet Hamilton Township.  No one had any idea of his past.  The New Jersey Supreme Court affirmed the conviction and death sentence yesterday for Timmendequas.  According to Newsday, the court, in a 4-3 ruling, rejected arguments by defense attorneys that his 1997 trial was tainted by publicity because it was only a few miles from

Suresh Jhaveri, 49, the owner of a Valley Stream card store was arrested Tuesday night on charges of luring two 17 year old girls into a back room in his store on separate occasions and fondling them.  He was charged with first and third degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a minor.  At his arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead yesterday, he pleaded not guilty and was ordered held at the Nassau jail on $150,000 bail.  His next court date is tomorrow.  Jhaveri groped and fondled the
