POLICE BOOST PATROLS AROUND MERRICK, BELLMORE SCHOOLS

Thomas Sheppard, a 27 year old Westhampton Beach Middle School gym teacher, pleaded notguilty Monday to an indictment that accuses him of making a cellphone video recording of his femaleeighth-grade students undressing in the locker room after class.  Sheppard, of Speonk, ischarged with second degree unlawful surveillance, a felony, and seven counts of endangering thewelfare of a child, a misdemeanor.  Bail is set at $25,000 bond, which Sheppard has posted.
