2024 Crime: 5 Dead in Syosset Murder Suicide

In one of the most notable investigations of the year, Joseph Delucia Jr., 59, of Syosset, was identified by police as the shooter in an apparent murder suicide which killed five people. The Wyoming Court cul-de-sac hadn’t expected to become the scene of a crime in August’s shocking investigation.

Rapper Jay-Z Accused in Lawsuit of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

An amended lawsuit filed in federal court on Sunday alleges that rap mogul Jay-Z raped a 13-year-old girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs during a party in 2000.

Jay-Z denied the allegations on social media and blasted the lawsuit, calling it part of a “blackmail attempt” by the plaintiff’s lawyer. Lawyers for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The lawsuit was originally filed in October in the Southern District of New York and at that time did not name Jay-Z

Haiti Gang Kills 110 People Accused of Witchcraft

At least 110 mostly elderly people have been brutally murdered by gang members in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, according to a human rights group.

The National Human Rights Defense Network (RNDDH) said a local gang leader had targeted them after his son fell ill and subsequently died.

The gang leader reportedly consulted a voodoo priest who blamed elderly locals practicing “witchcraft” for the boy’s mystery illness.

A woman from Long Island faces 4-years in jail for allegedly practicing unlicensed dentistry from her one-bedroom apartment.
