A Maryland youth football coach now faces child sex abuse charges.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Moshe Michael Imel of Owings, Md. was charged Thursday with four counts of sex abuse of a minor.

Sheriffs say two victims came forward with allegations dating back to 2009 and lasting till the present.

Imel coached youth football in Calvert County and nearby locations, police said.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A Shreveport man is facing up to more than a century in prison after he was convicted Friday of molesting children under the age of 13 and having illicit photos of children in his cell phone.

According to the Caddo Parish District’s Attorney’s Office, 49-year-old Kevin Tramell Gaines Sr. was found guilty by District Judge Donald Hathaway Jr. on three counts of molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13 and one count of pornography involving juveniles.

An armed child-rape suspect who left Arkansas, where he was wanted on 11 felony counts, was killed in Arlington, Texas, this week after pointing a gun at police during a traffic stop, according to a report.

“We are thankful no innocent community members or officers were injured,” the Arlington Police Department wrote on Twitter.
