CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two separate sex offenders were stopped by entering two Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools within 24 hours of each other this week.
The first happened Tuesday morning at Vance High School. The next morning, a sex offender was caught at University Meadows Elementary School. There have been several other similar cases over the past couple months.

Today (Friday) at the High Court in Glasgow, 41-year-old James Kerr, from Dunfermline, admitted raping two schoolgirls and physically abusing two women.
The offences, which were committed a various address in Dunfermline, took place over a 28-year period from 1991 to 2019.

A Sedalia man has been arrested on charges of sodomy, child molestation, and incest.
Roy R. Pounds, 41, has been charged with felony first-degree child molestation, felony incest, felony statutory sodomy/attempt deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14-years-old, and felony statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy-deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 12-years-old. SHELBY — A 2018 Ohio statehouse candidate has been charged with three felony sex crimes involving a juvenile, according to Shelby Municipal Court records.
Those state charges will likely become federal allegations next week, according to a spokesperson for the FBI’s Cleveland office. FBI agents executed a Shelby search warrant Wednesday at the suspect’s home, results of which are still sealed.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. – A former teacher who worked for two school districts in northern Colorado was arrested last week on suspicion of multiple child sex crimes, a spokesperson with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday.
