A man was arrested on Oct. 4 after police said he indecently exposed himself at a preschool.
Officers found Toufiq Azzam, 38, in a Taco Bell parking lot next to Kidz Kidz Kidz Preschool after they received multiple calls reporting that he’d exposed himself.
A woman who works at the preschool told police that Azzam was talking to kids over the fence while he had his pants down and was touching himself. She said the fence was high enough that the kids couldn’t see what he was doing,

A Lebanon man was arrested on suspicion of several sex crimes and a child pornography charge on Tuesday afternoon.
Elijah Nathaniel Baker, 18, was charged in Linn County Circuit Court on Wednesday afternoon with three counts of first-degree sex abuse, first-degree sodomy and first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse.
Judge Rachel Kittson-MaQatish set Baker’s bail at $75,000, as requested by the prosecution.
Prosecutor Richard Wijers said the sodomy charge was a Jessica’s Law crime, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison.

A 56-year-old Las Vegas man convicted of possessing more than 600 images of child pornography was sentenced Friday to a maximum 20 years in federal prison, according to the Justice Department.
Gilbert Davila Jr. was convicted of one count of possession of child pornography after a bench trial in April. He has previous convictions in California for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and lewd acts upon a child under 14, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Las Vegas.

Vancouver police are warning the public about a high-risk sex offender that is being released into the city once again.
Trevor Leonard Smith, 46, is a federal offender with a high risk of “relationship and sexual violence — particularly against children,” according to police.
He holds convictions for sexual assault, possession of child pornography, assault causing bodily harm, and failure to comply with a court order.
He has been the subject of at least two police warnings, one in 2017 and one this past March.
