DAVIE, Fla. – For seven years two sisters, 11 and 13, suffered repeated sexual abuse by Patricio Parodi, investigators said.
Parodi, who lives at 4227 SW 61st Ave. in Davie, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on minors.
According to an arrest report, the oldest sister detailed the years of sexual abuse to a one-time roommate of Parodi. That roommate then contacted Broward Sherriff’s Office, which kicked off an investigation that included the help of an FBI special agent.

MADISON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) Authorities in Madison County are showing absolutely no mercy for a woman who admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing a child and possessing child pornography.
Felicia Mulkey of Madisonville pleaded guilty last month to four charges and received two life sentences with no chance of parole.
The survivor of the crimes was attacked “hundreds of times,” according to prosecutors.
“It took a team effort to successfully prosecute this horrendous crime and rescue a little girl,” said District Attorney Brian Risinger.

PAULS VALLEY, Okla. — An Oklahoma couple have been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after being convicted in what officials are calling a “horrifying” child abuse case.
Garvin County District Judge Leah Edwards sentenced Gerrad Coddington, 25, and Christina Nelson-Coddington, 30, both of Pauls Valley, on all 29 counts relating to child abuse, including first-degree rape, incest, child abuse, manufacturing child pornography and lewd acts with a minor, among others, according to Attorney General Mike Hunter’s office.

MATHEWS COUNTY, Va. — The operator of a Virginia oyster company is awaiting extradition back to Virginia following his arrest. William “Billy” Hooper Jr. is accused of committing sex crimes with a child under 16 on his yacht, according to the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office.
The crime, according to investigators, took place between April and June.

A northeast Iowa sex offender has been accused of another sex crime, court records show.

Allen Ray Love Jr., 47, of West Union is facing a charge of enticing a minor under 13, according to criminal complaint filed Tuesday.

“On (Tuesday) a search warrant was conducted at (a home in) West Union where several electronic devices were seized for forensic examination,” reads a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
