His records indicate that he may have had hundreds of victims in fivestates, Brazil and Mexico over more than 30 years. A law was passed by the state legislature and signed by Rio Governor Rosinha Matheus last month that averts groping and other unwanted sexual advances.  Female commuters filled women-only, pink-striped subway cars yesterday on the first day of the program.  Frequent complaints from women commuters about sexual harassment in crowded railway cars had prompted state legislators to pass the bill.

Lacrete Patrocinio Orpinelli, 47, a drifter with a long history of violent behavior has been charged with sexual abuse and murder in Sao Paulo state and has confessed to killing at least 10 children over a 20 year period, police said Tuesday.  Orpinelli confessed to three murders shortly after he was arrested on January 14th in Rio Claro.  He also confessed to seven more killings and led police to the bodies.  The victims were boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 11.  He said nightmares he was having
