HILLSBORO, Ore. — A convicted sex offender was found guilty on several sex crimes last week, accused of sexually abusing an underage male he met through a dating app.

David Gordon Propp, 51, was found guilty last Tuesday (April 19) of three counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, four counts of luring a minor, four counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, and tampering with a witness.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A former speaker of the Oregon House and current lobbyist in Salem has been accused by Portland Police of soliciting sex from an undercover officer. The charge was first reported by the Portland Tribune.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – Police say one man is under arrest on charges related to a complex and ongoing criminal investigation.

On Wednesday, at about 2:00 p.m., officers with the Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) and Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) arrested John Damron III, 34, in the 7300 block of Northeast Columbia Avenue.

A Junction City man was found guilty on 22 separate charges, including 21 felony sex crimes, in Linn County Circuit Court on Friday.
Michael Ray Long, 36, was found guilty of 10 counts of first-degree sexual abuse, five counts of second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, three counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, three counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of strangulation.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – A 59-year-old man was convicted of soliciting child pornography online from children in seven states, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
The district attorney’s office says David Arnold Cohron was convicted of attempting to use a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, and second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse.
Cohron was sentenced to 11 years in prison after he was convicted.
