Bradley Roffer, a 30 year old Mount Sinai Middle School physical education teacher, was arrested after asking a 14 year old student during an Internet chat to have sex with him. Roffer, of 29 Mt. Rainier Avenue in Farmingville, was charged with one felony count of disseminating indecent material to a minor and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child. He surrendered to police after being arraigned and was released on his own recognizance.  

Roffer was granted conditional release and ordered to forfeit his state teaching

Robert Sudakow, a 28 year old substitute middle school teacher from upstate New York, was arrested for allegedly masturbating in front of a Web cam for a person who he thought was a 14 year old boy.  The teen turned out to be an undercover investigator working for the office of District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, who allegedly caught Sudakow, of Utica, engaging in obscene acts live on the Internet.  He has worked at a Utica middle school as a substitute teacher for only four weeks and now faces four years

Arlis Hailey, 22, of Florence, was busted by FBI agents for flying to New York from Arizona allegedly to have sex with a 15 year old Bronx boy.  She was taken into custody Friday night after she made contact with the boy.  Arizona FBI agents believe Hailey met the boy on the Internet and was flying to New York for the sole purpose of the encounter.  She is being held on suspicion of traveling across state lines for sex with a minor.

Jeffrey Bennett, an 18 year old Riverside Drive man, met two girl, 13 & 14 years old, on the Internet and allegedly tried to turn himself into the city’s newest pimp with the help of the Florida girls he recruited to turn tricks.  He traveled with a friend to Lantana, Florida where he first saw them face to face.  He took them back on a Greyhound bus to Manhattan where he hoped to use them as the base for a prostitution business.  Bennett was busted April 8th, thanks to a

Christopher Gazzo, a 33 year old Long Island man who thought he was meeting a 14 year old girl he first encountered over the Internet, was arrested on a pornography charges yesterday as part of the Nassau County district attorney’s Operation Teensaver sting.  Gazzo, of Port Jefferson, was charged with two counts of attempted dissemination of indecent material to minors, a felony that carries a prison term of up to four years.  He allegedly had several online conversations beginning March 7 with a person he believed was a 14 year
