An Albany woman was accused of multiple sex crimes in Linn County Circuit Court on Wednesday afternoon.
Tina Gaylene Ketcham, 40, was charged with first-degree sodomy, first-degree sex abuse, two counts of first-degree rape, and three other sex crimes.
“This is a situation where hundreds of charges could have been brought,” said prosecutor Keith Stein. He added that each charge represented a separate and distinct event, and asked for $350,000 security in the case.

Young girls are being groomed “within seconds” of going on to livestreaming websites, a charity has warned.
The Internet Watch Foundation, which removes child abuse imagery from the internet, said men would approach children as young as 11 online.

A Yorkville man, who was charged in December of 2019 for allegedly sexually assaulting a child, was indicted on Monday by a Kendall County Grand Jury on 34 additional felony counts of sexual abuse and sexual assault against other minor victims.
Kendall County Court records show that 55 year-old Eliseo Alfaro-Ortiz of Weston Ave. had the additional charges filed last week by the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office.

A 48-year-old top aide to Miami’s mayor reportedly sent a picture of his penis to a minor in mid-January, according to an incident report released Wednesday.
Rene Pedrosa, Mayor Francis Suarez’s former spokesperson, allegedly sent the picture to the teenager and requested some kind of photo on Jan. 19, the Miami Herald reported.
