Florida man was sentenced to life in prison after admitting to repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl—claiming “he felt she was old enough to have sex.”
Wilfredo Erazo-Turcios, 29, of Brandenton, was convicted after a jury found him guilty on two counts sexual assault upon a child under 12 years of age, reports the Miami Herald.
The jury’s deliberations lasted for roughly one hour and 30 minutes following the two-day trial and after the guilty verdict, lawyers for Erazo-Turcios waived his rights for pre-sentencing investigation.

So-called camouflage rapist Troy Johnson has been handed a 28-year prison sentence for abducting then sexually assaulting a 12-year-old schoolgirl on the NSW Central Coast.

NSW District Court Judge David Wilson said the mechanic and father-of-three had engaged in “truly evil conduct”.

Wilson, who lifted the suppression order on naming Johnson, said the girl “was truly a victim of the detestable conduct of the perverted offender”.

Johnson was jailed for 28 years with a minimum of 21 years.

Richard Huckle, 33, from Ashford, Kent, abused as many as 200 children.

In 2016, he was given 22 life sentences after admitting 71 charges of sex abuse of children aged between six months and 12 years, between 2006 and 2014.

It is understood he was attacked on Sunday in his cell at Full Sutton Prison, near York, with what was described as a makeshift knife.

Police were called shortly after 12:30pm and have launched an investigation into his death, which they are treating as suspicious.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Greenville County Sheriff’s Office officials said a man was arrested on various child sex crimes Wednesday.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, investigators arrested Michael Adam Knight, 47, of Simpsonville, on 10 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of voyeurism.

Investigators started an investigation on Aug. 26 regarding Knight’s possible involvement with child pornography.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A UTMB heart surgeon is out on bond after deputies say he tried to meet a child online for sex.

Shawn Robinson was arrested along with seven other men as part of an undercover operation to expose internet crimes against children.
