An Alameda County man was sentenced to serve six years in state prison for the sexual assault of a woman in San Rafael in 2019.

Jesse John Rieder, 39, appeared in Marin County Superior Court on Thursday. Rieder was previously found guilty by a jury of forcible sexual penetration with a foreign object.

Judge Geoffrey Howard, who imposed the sentence, called Rieder “dangerous to society.”

“This conduct is conduct that I simply cannot overlook on the impact that it’s had on the victim and those around her and society in general,”

Two men seen high-fiving each other after sexually assaulting a woman in a London nightclub have been convicted of rape.
Ferdinando Orlando, 25, and Lorenzo Costanzo, 26, led the victim into a maintenance room minutes after meeting her at the Soho venue and took turns to sexually assault her, leaving her with “severe” injuries.
CCTV footage then showed the men, both Italian nationals, running up stairs out of the club and watching videos they filmed of the attack on a mobile phone.
The victim was found in the venue’s toilets

This week, Owen Mooney, a male model and graphic designer, said that he was groped by Alexander Wang, an influential fashion designer, in a New York City nightclub in 2017.
Mr. Mooney made the accusations in a pair of videos he posted on social media. Soon after, further allegations of sexual assault and nonconsensual encounters were made against the 37-year-old designer, posted by Instagram accounts that did not identify the accusers.

Joshua Lodge, an 18 year old teen guest at Harry Potter star Rupert Grint’s 18th birthday party, has been arrested for raping a 13 year old girl who said she was attacked at the private-home bash earlier this month.  Lodge has been charged with rape, he was freed and slated to appear in court early next year.
