John Hooker, a 46 year old Massachusetts truck driver with a fetish for sucking children’s toes is being held for allegedly molesting a boy after he paid him and a friend to go skinny dipping.  He told investigators that he has been convicted of abusing children back east.  Police are trying to determine if he has committed similar crimes while traveling across the United States as a trucker.  He told local authorities that he was convicted in Massachusetts in 1991 for assaulting two boys, he was fired as a bus

Frank James Milligan, a 31-year-old man, is accused of kidnapping a 10-year-old boy from the Dallas City Park after promising his $100 for yard work.  He is accused of sexually assaulting and then slashing the throat of the boy and faces new charges of attempted aggravated murder, kidnapping in the first degree and sexual abuse.  The boy told police that Milligan drove him to a rural part of Marion County, tried to sexually assault him and then slit his throat when he resisted.  He was left in a field and

George Dewey Davis, now 47, was hired by Shelter Inc. in the spring of 1997, a little more than a year after he was paroled from state prison.  He served seven years of a 16 year sentence for molesting a Contra Costa County boy.  According to the Contra Costa Times, the registered sex offender managed a Shelter Inc. house for young adult mental health clients for more than two years.  A suit has been filed against him and the agency’s leaders.  Seven young adults and one parent filed the suit,

Matthew Roth, a sex offender, faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge for buying a 55-gallon drum containing 98,000 doses of a substance used to manufacture the date rape drug GHB.  He will be sentenced August 29.  In 1995 he was convicted of a lewd and lascivious act on a child under 16.  He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute GHB.

Rex V. Weston, 41, of Anchorage, has been charged with raping an 87 year old woman who is a resident at the Providence Extended Care Center.  The man approached the reception desk and asked to meet with someone at the home but the receptionist could not understand him and directed him to speak to someone else.  He wandered off and entered the room of the woman who was having dinner.  He then forced her into the chapel and raped her.  Her screams were heard by employees who ran in and

Brian Alexander Ward, 39, jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge Wednesday as police chased and tried to arrest him.  He was suspected of molesting a 4 year old boy who lived at the same Sausalito home of Ward.  When Ward spotted officers he fled in his truck.  The officer pursued him but when he got onto the bridge he got out of the car and jumped into the water.  His body was not found.  Police said Ward was a high-risk sex offender with previous convictions.
