GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Christian artist who lived a life of celibacy and described himself as an “urban monk” is headed to trial on a second set of charges that he sexually molested a child.

James Treadwell was in a Kent County courtroom Wednesday as a father told a judge about how he watched as his 8-year-old daughter was victimized.

DOYLESTOWN, Penn. – An ex-priest accused of sexually abusing boys in the area pleads guilty in connection with those crimes.

“Do you have any comment at all? Why plead guilty?” asked FOX 29’s Jeff Cole.

“No comment,” was Francis Trauger’s reply.

Suspended as a priest in 2003 and kicked out two years later, Trauger, now living in Brooklyn, New York, came to admit guilt.

“I was 12-years-old, so, today I represent that 12-year-old,” Mike McDonnell stated.

LAKE LUZERNE — A late priest that served at a church in Lake Luzerne was named in one of 52 sex abuse lawsuits filed Monday against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.

The Rev. Charles A. Gaffigan, who retired from Holy Mother and Child Parish in 2011, is accused of sexually abusing a minor from 1992 to about 1994 at what was then Holy Infancy Church in Lake Luzerne, according to a news release from Jeff Anderson & Associates. The law firm has filed a total of
