LAKE GROVE SCHOOL SUED OVER RAPE OF BOY

PFMLIT General, JUVENILE OFFENDERS, RESTROOM, SEX CRIMES COMMITTED IN SCHOOL, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS COMMITTING RANDOM SEX CRIMES

According to police reports and a lawsuit recently filed in Bronx Supreme Court, a Bronx boy who resides at the Lake Grove School for emotionally disturbed children was raped by a 17 year old classmate.  The boy, who was 12 at the time, was sodomized and beaten in one of the school's bathrooms on the night of January 31, 2003.  The 17 year old was arrested on charges of sexual misconduct on the day of the incident and was tried as a juvenile.
