ST. GEORGE — Two suspects arrested for sexual offenses involving minors were the culmination of multiple investigations that resulted in a total of three men being taken into custody Monday. The Washington County Attorney’s Office said the cases were unrelated.
On Monday night, Bryce Alan Taylor was taken into custody by the St. George Police Department following an investigation into reports the suspect allegedly sexually abused a juvenile.

BAMBERG, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster has suspended a Bamberg County councilman after indictments were announced against him for six child sex charges.
A Bamberg County grand jury indicted Councilman Kerry Trent Kinard on Thursday. Along with the child sex crimes, the grand jury indicted Kinard on a first-degree assault charge. McMaster suspended him on Friday, The State reported.
South Carolina law allows McMaster to suspend public officials after grand jury indictments for “a crime involving moral turpitude.”
Kinard was first elected to Bamberg County Council in 2012.

A paedophile former Conservative Party campaign manager previously worked as a children’s entertainer in primary schools, The Independent can reveal.
Mark Lerigo was spared jail for possessing indecent images last week after a court heard he was judged not to pose a high risk to children.
The 49-year-old had collected more than 1,500 images, some showing babies and others involving bestiality and torture.
Lerigo, of Coventry, had worked for the Conservatives since 2011 in roles including campaign manager and political agent.

ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — A man found guilty on several different sex crime charges against a minor was sentenced to 115 years to life plus 40 years on Monday, according to the Ashtabula County Prosecutor Celia Cooper.
On Sept. 18, Justin Furmage was found guilty by a jury of eight counts of rape and eight counts of gross sexual imposition involving a victim under the age of 10, Cooper said.
Furmage appeared in court for his sentencing, where he received 15 years to life on each count

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) – A Lexington man could be in prison for the rest of his life if found guilty on charges of multiple sex crimes involving a minor.

Ronnie Dawsey Jr., 37, was arrested Nov. 10 by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Lexington County Sheriff’s Office.

A tip led state and federal investigators to Dawsey.

Officials say he “engaged in criminal sexual conduct with a minor and produced, distributed, and possessed multiple files of child sexual abuse material*.”

Dawsey faces the following litany of charges:
