Man gropes woman aboard moving Bronx subway train, police say

CONCOURSE, the Bronx (PIX11) – A man groped a woman aboard a moving subway train in the Bronx, police said on Thursday.

The 41-year-old victim boarded a southbound No. 4 train at around 7:30 a.m. on April 29, and as the train traveled to the subway station at 149th Street and Grand Concourse, the suspect touched her buttocks, according to authorities. The victim left the train when it stopped at East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue, while the suspect fled upon reaching the East 116th Street stop.

Police reported no injuries

Two arrested in underage sex trafficking sting

(BCN) – San Rafael police on Tuesday announced that a sting operation launched by them and several other agencies had nabbed two men suspected of attempting to solicit minors for lewd purposes, otherwise known as underage prostitution.

Authorities conducted their six-hour operation at a San Rafael hotel on Friday. Ads were placed online on sites that “typically look for women who are offering sexual services for pay,” police said. Law enforcement specifically targeted anyone looking for female juveniles who might be trafficked and buyers seeking minors.

Las Vegas man accused of drugging, raping child he met on Snapchat

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas man drugged a child he met on Snapchat and raped her at least twice, police wrote in court documents.

George Duran, 25, faces charges of sexual assault against a child under 14 and luring a child to engage in sex, court records said.

Harlem teacher accused of sex crimes against student

Jack Young, a high school history teacher, is charged with indecent exposure, sexual abuse of children, sexual assault, and sexual intercourse without consent (the Montana statute for rape). 24 sexual offenders in Volusia County arrested for failing to register, deputies say

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives say they have arrested 24 people for failing to properly register as sexual offenders or sexual predators.

The arrests come after a countywide investigation into the criminals known as Operation Endgame.

Most of them were following rules, but 24 were found to be in violation of the law that states convicted sexual offenders or predators must register as such with the sheriff’s office.

Some were arrested on unrelated warrants.

According to the Volusia County sheriff’s office, there are 1,267 sex offenders or predators registered as living in Volusia County.

Tracy high school teacher arrested on sex crime charges against students

TRACY, Calif. — A teacher was arrested after being accused of sex crimes against students at high schools in Tracy and Modesto.

Police said they started investigating after getting alerted to an inappropriate relationship between the teacher and a student at West High School on April 25.
