An arrest was made this weekend at Adelphi University in Garden City for a reported sexual assault, according to the college.

An email went out to all students, staff and parents saying in part, “We want to inform you about an arrest made on our Garden City campus early this morning, April 17, for a reported sexual assault in Earle Hall.”

No details were given about the person who was allegedly arrested by Garden City police, and the school did not provide any additional information on the suspect.

LOS ANGELES – Authorities are investigating after a Los Angeles man was arrested for alleged sex crimes against children.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, 50-year-old Joseph Gatt was arrested on April 6 for an outstanding felony warrant involving contact with a minor for sexual offense.
