Charles Edward Chuck Richards, Jr., 29, of 104 Cottonwood Apartments, was arrested November 15 on charges of possessing obscene matter (most notably child pornography). Numerous photographs and obscene material were discovered in Richards’ home.

James Flynn, 36, and Susan Flynn, 35, were arrested yesterday and accused of videotaping their sexual acts with a young girl. Printed images of child pornography were found in their West Hempstead home. A videotape contained scenes of both James and Susan Flynn engaging in sexual acts with a 7 year old girl. The time stamp on the tape was April and May 1998. The couple were charged with engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct.

Steven Gerald Massey, a 36 year old Decatur man, faces three counts of first degree sexual abuse involving three children under 12 years old. He was also charged with possession of child pornography. The alleged offenses occurred between January 1 and June 23. Massey remains in Decatur City Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Julio Espino, a 50 year old church caretaker, was molesting his ex-girlfriend’s 13 year old granddaughter and convinced the teen to run away with him.
