George Dewey Davis, now 47, was hired by Shelter Inc. in the spring of 1997, a little more than a year after he was paroled from state prison.  He served seven years of a 16 year sentence for molesting a Contra Costa County boy.  According to the Contra Costa Times, the registered sex offender managed a Shelter Inc. house for young adult mental health clients for more than two years.  A suit has been filed against him and the agency’s leaders.  Seven young adults and one parent filed the suit,

A new sketch of an assailant who is believed to be a serial rapist who has attacked eight women in their homes over the past two months by posing as a police officer and an FBI agent, among other things, has been released.  After talking to the latest victim, a 15 year old girl who was raped, the new sketch was released and a $30,000 reward is being offered.

Robert Beck, 18, is charged with sexual abuse of a child in connection with an assault on his 10 year old half sister.

Police were responding to a call that someone was on the roof of the house Beck lives in and was making noise.

Instead of finding someone on the roof, they looked in the window of the house and saw a mother sprawled on a couch

while Beck, her son, nuzzled her provocatively.  Then Beck tried to lure his half sister, who was nude, into the

John Edward Robinson, 56, would search the Internet under the screen name slavemaster for sadomasochistic sex partners and possible victims.  He was charged with murdering five women and stuffing their bodies into barrels.  It is believed that he is responsible for the killing of at least 11 women.  He was already in jail in lieu of $5 million bail on charges of sexually abusing two women he met online when the murder charges were announced.  Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Timothy Oliva, 19, Mehul Modi, 22, Timothy Sankey, 25, Michael Wayne Ruiz, 20, and Marques Romo,19, are charged with aggravated sexual assault, a first degree felony that carries a maximumpenalty of 99 years to life. The five began chatting with a 12 year old girl over the Internet inDecember. They persuaded her to meet them and then allegedly each of them had sex with her. Policewould not say if they believed the girl was forcibly attacked or had consensual sex with thesuspects.
