A victim of the “black cab rapist” John Worboys has been forced to give evidence in court after he disputed the date he attacked her.

Worboys, who now goes by the name John Derek Radford, is facing life imprisonment after admitting assaults on four more women.

The victim of the earliest assault said it took place in London in 2000 or 2001, but Worboys now claims it happened at least two years later.

Mrs Justice McGowan indicated that she was considering a life sentence in June, and will be considering the length of his offending

SALINA, Kan. (KWCH) A former employee of Saint Francis Ministries in Salina is facing 11 charges including rape, sexual exploitation of a child and indecent liberties with a child.

The Salina Journal reports Saline County District Court records show Nathaniel McEachin worked for Saint Francis Ministries from December 2018 to May 2019, when he was fired.

Morgan Rothenberger, spokesman for Saint Francis Ministries, says the organization notified authorities when suspicions were raised about McEachin.

An officer in South Carolina was reportedly arrested in a sex sting operation that was carried out by his own police department, officials announced this week.

According to NBC News, Derek Vandenham, 34, was immediately fired from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department following his arrest on Tuesday. Vandenham, a deputy who had been with the department since August 2015, is accused of using social media or an online chatroom to solicit minors for sex.

A man who admitted to having sexual relations with a 16-year-old was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Once Austin F. Robinson, 33, finishes the prison term, he will have an additional 20 years on probation. Judge Daniel J. Craig imposed the sentence Friday in Columbia County Superior Court.

The victim’s mother caught Robinson naked in her daughter’s bedroom on Sept. 26, 2018, said Assistant District Attorney Pete Lamb. Robinson had no prior criminal record.

A man convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in Langley 15 years ago will have fewer restrictions when he leaves his Okanagan halfway house.

Brian Abrosimo will no longer require supervision when he enters the community, according to a just-released July 22 decision from the Parole Board of Canada.

His curfew has also been extended from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m.

The 56-year-old was previously limited to just one-hour visits in which he would have to be accompanied by a male staff member.
