A former Bath County sheriff’s deputy has been indicted on charges accusing him of sexual crimes against a minor.

Joshua Eugene Preece, 39, of Morehead, is accused of sexually assaulting a minor on Nov. 5, 2018, and he is accused of asking for and receiving sexually graphic images of minors online between November 2017 and October 2018, the Kentucky attorney general’s office said in a news release.

LIVINGSTON – A Livingston Parish couple tied to the local school system and sheriff’s department is accused of making or possessing as many as sixty pornographic items involving children.
The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office released details about its investigation after WBRZ was first to report on the arrests of Cynthia Perkins, 34, and Dennis Perkins, 44, Wednesday.
The couple was arrested – Cynthia Perkins in Livingston Parish and her husband arrested while out of town in Sabine Parish.

WARRENSBURG — The former police officer and Warrensburg Town Board member who faces a 21-count indictment for alleged sexual abuse of three boys was jailed Monday for violating orders of protection issued in the case, police said.
Dean G. Ackley, 60, was charged with 10 misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt after the Warren County Sheriff’s Office learned he had gone to Warrensburg High School on several occasions, despite a prohibition against doing so, authorities said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) – A former Montgomery County Sheriff’s officer has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of distribution, receipt, and possession of child pornography. Last March, investigators found almost 4,000 images and videos of child sex abuse on Matthew Laver’s computer.

The investigation also revealed the 38-year-old from Souderton allegedly trafficked child pornography over the course of ten years while employed at the sheriff’s office.

Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins has blamed Maryland’s Montgomery county’s policies for enabling crimes from illegal immigrants and “jeopardizing public safety” as a result.
