A Sampson teenager is facing more than 20 felony charges after an investigation into sexual conduct involving a child under 12 years old, local law enforcement authorities said.
Dakota Mychal Laws, 18, of 1164 Wiggins Road, Clinton, was arrested earlier this week and placed under $250,000 secured bond for the offenses against him. According to Sampson County Sheriff’s records, Laws is facing 23 felony charges in all, including sex counts of first degree statutory rape, nine counts of first degree statutory sex offense and seven counts of crimes

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A Newport News man has pleaded guilty to sex crimes against minors following his arrest back in 2019.
Then 61-year-old Curtis Charles Claypool was arrested by Newport News Police back in July of 2019. He was charged with eight counts each of displaying child pornography to a child, taking indecent liberties with a child, aggravated sexual battery: victim 13 years-old or younger, object sexual penetration: victim 13 years-old or younger and sodomy: victim 13 years-old or younger.

Sarah Norton, the Connecticut mother-of-three who lured a fourteen-year-old boy into an ongoing sexually explicit exchange online, and then made efforts to consummate her predation, has been slapped with a 14-year prison sentence, The Morning Call reports.
Hailing from Jewett City, Connecticut, Sarah Norton ventured to Allentown, Pennsylvania, with the intention of sexually abusing the teenage boy.

A Rogers, Arkansas mom and home school teacher has admitted to sex abuse of a teen girl.

According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, home school teacher Alisa Andrews, 52, pleaded guilty on Monday at court in Bentonville to sex assault charges.

Andrews admitted she was in a sexual relationship with the teen girl, who was a student of hers.

The victim said Andrews was her biology teacher the semester before their relationship began, but wasn’t her teacher when it started, according to a police affidavit.

RACINE — A man who was convicted at trial of seven counts of sex crimes against children will not see the light of day again for decades.
Danny Obuchowski, 28, will serve at least 40 years in prison after being found guilty at trial in September 2020.
