Jennifer Reiffert, a 24 year old camp counselor at a summer day camp in East Setauket, wasarrested yesterday and charged with sexually abusing a 3 year old girl on one of the camp’s buses.The incident allegedly occurred on July 22 just after 9:30 a.m. when Reiffert, who lives at 373Lake Pointe Drive in Middle Island, picked up the girl from her family’s home to drive her to theLaurel Hill School. Authorities say at some point along the way, Reiffert allegedly used herfingers to penetrate the girl’s vagina and anus,

Lisandra Zingaro, a 31 year old New Jersey school teacher, was arraigned yesterday on charges of second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.  She denies the charges.  Zingaro, who has been estranged from her husband for about a year and a half, met four times with a 16 year old student in her home where they had intercourse and oral sex.  If she is convicted of the sex charges, she faces 10 years in prison.  She was being held yesterday on $50,000 bail.
