A former Massachusetts professor accused of raping a student in his office after meeting her on a “sugar daddy” website has been indicted, prosecutors said.
Nicholas Pirelli — a 37-year-old communications professor who has been fired by Bridgewater State University — was indicted Monday on a litany of sex crimes, including rape, indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, engaging in sexual conduct for a fee, trafficking of a person for sexual servitude and disseminating obscene matter, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

Pedro Torres, a 36 year old man who cops say is the most persistent pedophile in memory, a super predator so obsessed with stalking teen boys that he did virtually nothing else, has been arrested.  He would surf the Internet day and night, combing chat rooms to find underage victims, then driving to their home states and coercing them into having sex with him.  He logged 862 chats with potential victims and likely hooked up with about a dozen kids in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts and Georgia.  The youngest

Clarence A. Nichols, a 49 year old Lynn, Massachusetts man, was arrested yesterday after he had oral sex with a 12 year old Bay Shore girl who he met in an Internet chat room in July, in a Holiday Inn Express on Express Drive South in Hauppauge.  Nichols was charged with a first degree criminal sexual act, a felony punishable by a maximum term of 25 years.

Noel Neff, a 46 year old editor for the Weekly Reader Corp., a Connecticut-based youth publishing group, was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor on the Internet.   Neff, of Norwalk, CT, was arrested on July 9 in the parking lot of the Franklin Village Mall, where he’d arranged a meeting with a minor for sex.  He faces two charges related to using the Internet with the internet to travel to have sex with a minor.  He remains in custody.

Neff pleaded innocent on July 28 to charges

Nicholas Oslander, 49, and Seth Kosofsky, 23, were arrested and appeared in federal court in connection with charges arising from an investigation of a worldwide child pornography trading ring.  They were charged in separate criminal complaints with possession of child

pornography.  If convicted, they both face maximum sentences of five years in prison, and fines of $250,000.  They also face the forfeiture of their computer systems, which were seized.
