Houck, a 52 year old registered sex offender who served a four-year prison sentence for distributing child pornography, was arrested this week on suspicion of telling an undercover detective online that he would pay for sex with a 10 year old girl.  Houck, of Fairfax, has been jailed since he was arrested on federal charges of attempting to arrange sexual activity with a minor online and distributing child pornography.

Ahmed Hasan Khan, a 31 year old U.S. contractor who worked at Abu Ghraib, was sentenced tonearly 3 1/2 years in prison yesterday for possession of kiddie porn obtained over the notoriousIraqi prison’s computer network. Khan, of Woodbridge, was working for the contractor L-3Communications Holdings which has contracts for translators and other services, in November 2005when a network administrator at the prison noticed that he’d visited some suspicious sites.

Rabbi David Kaye, 56, ensnared in a televised sex sting was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison yesterday for crossing a state line to have sex with what he thought was a 13 year old boy.  Kaye, of Rockville, Maryland, was convicted in September.  Most of the evidence came from a Dateline NBC sting conducted in conjunction with Perverted Justice, an Internet watchdog group.
