Eric Sesack, a 31 year old Syosset man, who was arrested last year for promoting sexualperformance by a child and served 6 months in jail has been arrested again on similar charges.Sesack, of 73 Circle Drive, was arrested February 3 after detectives discovered well over 100images on his computer of children under the age of 16 performing sex acts. Sesack sentpornographic images to an Internet chat room user who was an undercover detective in Keene, NewHampshire and an investigation began January 9. Peter Martin, a 23 year old substitute teacher, was arrested January 28, on charges he invited two 16 year old girls to a Wantagh home he was house-sitting, served them alcoholic beverages and sexually abused them.  He was charged with two counts each of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.  Martin, of 14 Edgewood Drive, Hicksville, was ordered to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on February 11.  The incident allegedly occurred about two weeks ago when he attended a play at Wantagh Senior High School

A 23 year old Westbury man, who police are not naming because doing so could identify thevictim, was arrested January 27 and charged with second degree rape for having sex with a 14 yearold girl. The man invited the girl into his room and had sex with her several times in November andDecember. The man is someone her family knew well. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and wasordered held in Nassau County jail in East Meadow in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Damiene Iriarte, 21, was arrested for raping a 13 year old girl.  Iriarte, of Mattituck and New York City, had sexual relations with the girl on December 7.  Police declined to say where the incident took place or provide any other details.  Iriarte turned himself in at Southold Town police headquarters Friday.  He was charged with second degree rape and unlawfully dealing with a minor in the first degree.

Suffolk County police yesterday announced the arrests of five men for attempting to solicit sex from children over the Internet.  

– Charles Calandra, 30, of 21 Cottontail Road in Center Moriches, was arrested November 19 after chatting under the screen name Sweeee21.  He was arraigned and is being held at the Suffolk County jail.  He was convicted after sodomizing a juvenile male in 1998 but was out of jail and had finished probation.

– Edwin J. Partridge, 39, of 41 Page Lane in Westbury, was arrested November 24 and

A Nassau State Supreme Court justice ruled yesterday that plaintiffs suing the Diocese of Rockville Centre and priests they say abused them, cannot use the scathing findings of a Suffolk County grand jury report in their legal pleadings.
