MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — Michael Daniel Bowman, serving 50-200 years for child sex crimes, walked out of the Marshall County Courthouse a free man Wednesday.
Mr. Bowman was just set free. His indictment case was just dismissed with prejudice which means at this point it cannot come back pending an investigation into other indictments from the July 2015 term of the Marshall County Grand Jury.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A Lexington County man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for committing sex crimes against a child.
Donald Price, 50, pled guilty to 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
On May 16, 2016, Special Investigator Kevin Atkins with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office began an investigation into the online distribution of child pornography, according to reports.

Robert William Havery, 40, of Boise, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for a pair of child sex crimes.

Havery was arrested and charged in December 2019 with transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and receipt of child pornography, according to a news release Tuesday from the Idaho U.S. Attorney’s Office. He pleaded guilty last June.

A judge sentenced former NFL tight end Kellen Winslow II to 14 years in prison Wednesday for rapes and other sexual offenses against several women in Southern California.

San Diego County Superior Court Judge Blaine Bowman, who presided over Winslow’s trial, called the former player “a sexual predator,” according to news reports.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An Elizabethtown man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by lifetime supervised release for his exploitation of underage boys.

Matthew Alexander Lyons, 34, was sentenced this week following his conviction on multiple counts of online enticement of a minor, production of child pornography, sex trafficking of minors and distribution/possession of child pornography, acting U.S. Attorney Michael Bennett announced.

There is no statute of limitations in Virginia for felonies, meaning a criminal case can be filed at any time there is sufficient evidence.

Adrian James Ryan Orrell, 27, of Martinsville learned that the hard way on July 21, when he was arrested for rape, forcible sodomy and aggravated sexual battery of a victim younger than 13 years old on evidence that was more than 10 years ago.
