Jose Fuentes, a 26 year old twice-convicted rapist already serving 25 years behind bars, beat and raped Isa Cekic, 38, in September 2002.  The courageous Queens woman, who came forward with her rape ordeal, got a slap in the face and Fuentes got a slap on the wrist from Queens Supreme Court Justice Joel Blumenfeld.  The Queens district attorney slammed Blumenfeld for refusing to give additional prison time to Fuentes.   Yesterday, Blumenfeld sentenced Fuentes to 15 years in prison.

A Forest Hills man was arrested Friday by Nassau police and charged with fondling a 12 year old West Hempstead girl, according to police reports. Malcolm D. Brenner, 68, of 101-06 67th Drive, gave private piano lessons to the girl’s family over the course of a year. While giving lessons Friday morning, Brenner sexually fondled the girl, police said.
