PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — He begged for forgiveness, but in the end there would be none.

James Walley, a 57-year-old former paramedic, was sentenced Monday to 40 years in a Mississippi state prison, without possibility of parole, for the sexual assault of six patients in the back of ambulances, as well as the sexual molestation of two children, ages 6 and 7 at the time of the crimes.

A 16-year-old Temecula girl, on Friday March 25, was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 22-year-old employee with American Medical Response Riverside while in the back of ambulance.

The teenage victim, who CBSLA is not naming, said she took the bus to school, as she always does, but while in class, she was sent to the office.

“The teacher speculated something was wrong with me because I was trying to sleep,” she told CBSLA.

Jarvis Battiest, a 35 year old emergency room paramedic, has been accused of molesting a 13 year old girl with multiple sclerosis at Children’s Memorial Hospital.  Battiest, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and was being held in Cook County Jail on $250,000 bail Wednesday.  The victim came to the hospital on May 17 and Battiest was transferring her to radiology when he allegedly made suggestive remarks, telling her she was pretty and appeared older than her age.  Later, he allegedly went into the girl’s room and

Dennis Catucci, a 47 year old paramedic with the New York City Fire Department, was arrested yesterday after Nassau investigators found more than 50 nude and sexually explicit photos of children as young as 4 on his home computer.  Catucci, of 104 Elmont Road, Valley Stream, was first arrested in Suffolk County in June, after he exchanged sexually explicit e-mails with a Suffolk detective posing as a 14 year old girl. That investigation led police to Catucci’s home computer, where they found the other files.  He was arraigned on 11
