Twelve women who attended the New York School for the Deaf in Greenburgh decades ago are suing the school claiming they were sexually abused by the man who supervised their dorm.

The woman said that Joseph Casucci abused them on a regular basis while they were among the youngest students at the school between 1965 and 1975. One woman said the abuse started when she was 4 years old.

An overnight staffer at a private school in Massachusetts has been charged with raping a cognitively disabled 19-year-old student, police said.

Phillip Houtman, 28, of New Bedford, surrendered to authorities Friday afternoon after being charged a day earlier with rape, indecent assault and battery on a person with an intellectual disability and related counts for sexually assaulting a special needs student at Chamberlain International School, Middleborough police said.

HAMTRAMCK (WWJ) – A 37-year-old Hamtramck man is facing charges for the alleged sexual assault of a mentally disabled teenager.

According to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, Ibrahim Aljahim is employed as a student liaison Oakland International Academy, at Florian and Lathem in Hamtramck, where the 18-year-old male victim goes to school.

The inappropriate sexual contact occurred on Sept. 18, “on school property during school hours,” prosecutors said, while Aljahim was in a position of authority over the victim.

Anthony Casey, Jr., a 22 year old Bronx school aide, allegedly raped a 13 year old student three times last year after romancing her in school.  Casey, who works at Junior High School 162, was arrested yesterday and charged with rape and sex abuse.

Lois Enden, a 55 year old Queens school aide, raped a former student when he was just 11 and then made an apology captured on tape.  Enden was arraigned on May 18, 2007 on statutory rape and sodomy charges.  She has been suspended from her job at Public School 196 in Forest Hills.  I’m sorry, Enden told the victim, now 19, unaware that he was wearing a wire.  I’m so sorry.  When the victim happened to see Enden walking her dog, it sparked dark memories and a friend pushed him
