A Los Angeles police officer has been placed on leave for an investigation into accusations that he fondled a dead woman’s breasts on a call, the Los Angeles Times reports.
“There is an official investigation of this officer, who was caught on camera fondling a woman,” said LAPD spokesman Tony Im, The Washington Post reported.

NEWARK, N.J. (CNS) — A day after a New Jersey victims’ rights law went into effect, a 37-year-old man represented by Minnesota attorney Jeff Anderson has filed a lawsuit against Theodore McCarrick, a former cardinal who was Newark’s archbishop from 1986 to 2000.

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Salt Lake City Police Department recently arrested 21 sex offenders who were out of compliance with court orders and registry requirements. Many hadn’t updated their address.
Officers conducted 83 compliance checks — verifying current vehicles, state-issued IDs and other information are on file — and 59 residence checks over the past few months.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two separate sex offenders were stopped by entering two Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools within 24 hours of each other this week.
The first happened Tuesday morning at Vance High School. The next morning, a sex offender was caught at University Meadows Elementary School. There have been several other similar cases over the past couple months.

Today (Friday) at the High Court in Glasgow, 41-year-old James Kerr, from Dunfermline, admitted raping two schoolgirls and physically abusing two women.
