A Concord High School teacher has been arrested and charged with several sex crimes involving a minor, Concord police announced Thursday.

Manchester resident Joshua Harwood, 36, was arrested Thursday and charged with:

Two Class A felony charges of manufacturing child sexual abuse images.

One Class B felony charge of prostitution involving a minor.

A felony charge of possession of child sexual abuse images.

Misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and solicitation to commit sexual contact. The solicitations charges involve an adult, Concord police said.

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A fugitive who cut off his ankle monitor set up an online fundraiser to help him flee the country.

Now the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating him.

Keith Smith, 29, said he needs $2,000 because if he goes back to jail he believes he will die.

Smith was initially arrested in December of 2019 on multiple charges, including committing a sex crime on a person between ages 12 to 16.

SALT LAKE CITY — A registered sex offender has been charged with attacking a woman who was walking home in Salt Lake City in 2010 and raping her.

Calvin Bodie Garbett, 43, was charged Thursday in 3rd District Court with rape and object rape, first-degree felonies, and forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony.

In July 2010, a woman had just walked to a convenience store in downtown Salt Lake City and was returning to her residence when she was grabbed from behind.
