A Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty to sex-related charges involving a 16-year-old girl from Martinsville was sentenced to 35 years in prison Monday during an emotional court hearing when his mother pleaded for leniency.

Cody Daniel Moore, 28, of Carlisle, Pa., appeared before Martinsville Circuit Court Judge G. Carter Greer handcuffed, shackled and wearing an orange inmate suit, to face sentencing on a negotiated plea.

“So this will be a guilty plea,” Greer said.

NEBO MAN ACCUSED OF SEVERAL CHILD SEX CRIMES IN MCDOWELL.CO.

MCDOWELL COUNTY, NC (WSPA) – McDowell County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a man on several child sex crimes after investigating a tip that came into the sheriff’s office.
According to a news release, detectives investigated the anonymous tip and they determined that Jonathon Leslie Carver, 25, of Nebo, had reportedly had inappropriate sexual contact with an 8-month-old boy and a 2-year-old girl.
The sheriff’s office said the offenses reportedly happened over the past six months and that Carver is acquainted with the victims.

NEW HAVEN, CONN. (AP) — A Navy mechanic who last lived in Groton, Connecticut, pleaded guilty Monday to child pornography production offenses stemming from his sexual abuse of seven young girls in Connecticut, New Hampshire and California over several years.
Randall Tilton, 31, who waived his right to be indicted, pleaded guilty before a federal judge in New Haven to seven counts of child pornography production, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Connecticut. He is scheduled to be sentenced March 1, when federal prosecutors plan to argue

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man wanted for child sex crimes by the Wilmington Police Department has been taken into custody in Puerto Rico, according to officials.
Armando Amador is charged with first-degree sex offense and indecent liberties with a child and was arrested by US Marshals on Thursday.
According to a Wilmington Police Department spokesperson, there were multiple incidents beginning around 2016 involving a female victim.
