“It’s a sickness,” said Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson.
Swanson told TV5 new information in their hunt for suspected child traffickers.
Seventeen people have been arrested since sting operations started in March.
“National stats confirm that a pedophile or predator taken off the street can save the life of 25 future victims,” said Swanson.
Those arrested all reside over Mid-Michigan.

(WHAM) – Two Jesuit priests and a teacher are accused of sexually abusing former students at McQuaid Jesuit High School in the 1970s and 1980s, according to lawsuits filed in New York.

An X Factor reject described as “pure evil” has been jailed for life after admitting a series of rapes and other sex offences that took place over 22 years.

MANDAN MAN WANTED FOR SEX CRIME CHARGES IN TWO COUNTIES

Authorities are looking for a man from Mandan who’s accused in two counties of committing sexual crimes against young children.

Court records show Vincy Bishop Smith is accused of gross sexual imposition and continuous sexual abuse of a child in Morton County — both class AA felonies. He also faces a GSI charge in Emmons County.

Mandan Police filed an affidavit with South Central District Court, saying a 12-year-old girl was interviewed by the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center. The victim told officials that she was sexually assaulted several times

A bombshell lawsuit filed by two women Monday accused former Fox News chief national correspondent Ed Henry of raping one of them and says that the network’s star anchor Sean Hannity once offered $100 to staffers to “date” another woman who also accuses Henry of sexual harassment.

Jerry Jones, a South Side bishop who previously served as the assistant commissioner of the Chicago Fire Department, was charged with sexually abusing three minors, including two nieces who came forward years after the alleged abuse took place.

Jones, 71, of Olympia Fields, turned himself over to the Chicago police Friday and was charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, authorities said.

During his initial court hearing Sunday, prosecutors noted that Jones serves as a bishop of both the Apostolic Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ
