Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone joins Southampton Town Supervisor Anna Throne-Holstand Legislator Jay Schneiderman at Southampton Town Hall at 3 pm Thursday to announce plans for thelocation of trailers that house sex offender.  The trailers, now sited in Riverhead on thegrounds of the county jail and in Westhampton, have been placed in the Town of Southampton since2007.  The trailers were supposed to be moved to other towns on a rotating basis but they havenever been moved.  The county is legally responsible to provide housing for homeless sexoffenders released

Mistie Atkinson is accused of having sex with her 16 year old biological son several times,and videotaping it.  The Nice, California woman pleaded not guilty to incest and oralcopulation of a minor among other charges.  Police said that videos captured on the boy’sphone show Atkinson allegedly performing oral sex and having sexual intercourse with theteen.  She’s also accused of sending sexually explicit images to the boy.

Tessa Vanvlerah, a Missouri woman, was sentenced to consecutive life prison terms forsexually assaulting her infant daughter along with Kenneth Kyle, 49, a California State UniversityEast Bay professor, she met online.  Vanvlerah pleaded guilty in January to incest, statutorysodomy and statutory rape in the attacks against her daughter who was 5 months old when the pairfirst attacked her.  Kyle was arrested on child pornography charges.  Along with hundredsof child porn images on Kyle’s computers, investigators found information that led them to the St.Louis area, where Kyle had visited Vanvlerah

Hany Abdalla, a 35 year old teacher’s aide at P.S. 84 on the Upper West Side, was arrestedWednesday and accused of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.  He allegedlytouched an 8 year old girl inappropriately and also made her touch him.
