David Ohnmacht, a 22 year old Westchester man, took dozens of jobs that gave him access tochildren, including camp counselor, ice-cream truck driver and kids’ DJ, and then raped andmolested them. ATHLETE: PRIEST ADMITS ABUSE

In a statement released in March 2002, Cardinal Bernard Law said he was deeply saddened by allegations against former Cardinal Humberto Medeiros. Law is defending his predecessor from accusations that he groped a boy more than two decades ago. Garry Garland, now 38, has made the allegation. SCHOOL ‘GUARD’ BUSTED IN SEX STING

Ben Auerbach, a 47 year old city school safety officer, was busted after he allegedly tried to seduce a 13 year old girl over the Internet.  The person he thought was a teen was really an investigator for the Bronx DA’s office posing as a girl in a chat room.  Auerbach, who works in the district’s Manhattan motor pool, even showed up at what he thought was her home with a box of condoms.
