Paul Alexander, a 35 year old Bay Shore landscaper, is accused of enticing at least 20 boys on Long Island to participate in sexual activities or in the production of child pornography. He was arrested Thursday by FBI agents on a charge of using minors as young as 11 in child pornography for the past 16 years. He would hire the boys to help in his landscaping business and then pay them to engage in the pornographic activities at his home. A federal magistrate denied bail yesterday.

A federal judge has ruled that New Jersey will be allowed to list only a sex offender’s name, without any address or hometown, when it begins posting Megan’s Law information on the Internet in January. The ruling that was issued and made public crimps a constitutional amendment

Eugenio Soto, a 46 year old Freeport man, was arrested and charged with sexually molesting the 9 year old daughter of a former girlfriend. He has been charged with sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the child in his car on October 10th, while on the way to a toy store. According to Nassau County Detective Sgt. Jonathan Martin and Nigel Dixon, both 17 and senior football players from Baldwin High School, were charged as adults and arraigned after allegedly holding down and sexually abusing a freshman classmate. The victim, 14 years old and a junior varsity football player, was changing for practice around 3:30 pm on November 8th when the lights went off and he was held down. Charles Edward Chuck Richards, Jr., 29, of 104 Cottonwood Apartments, was arrested November 15 on charges of possessing obscene matter (most notably child pornography). Numerous photographs and obscene material were discovered in Richards’ home.
