MAN ACCUSED OF RAPE-REVENGE ATTACK

Mohamed Tarish Al-Hameli, a 25 year old college student from Egypt, has been charged with tryingto kill a 22 year old Egyptian neighbor and schoolmate for allegedly raping his 14 year old wife.He attacked the man with a saber in retaliation for an alleged attack on Al-Hamieli’s wife.According to APBnews.com, Al-Hameli is being held in the Pierce County Jail on $250,000 bond and ischarged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his neighbor in the chest, arms and legs. NO JAIL IN SEX CASE

Dan Marino, 45, a former head football coach at New Hyde Park High School, has been designated a Level 1 sex offender and received three years’ probation for having an affair with a 16 year old student last year.  He pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted rape and was fired.  He will continue to get sex therapy and will undergo any additional treatment deemed necessary by the probation department.  He must tell police where he lives every year for the next decade.

PROFESSOR GETS 105 YEARS FOR IMPORTING BOY FOR SEX

Marvin Hersh, 60, a former Florida Atlantic University professor, was sentenced today to 105 years in federal prison for smuggling a 15 year old Honduran boy into the United States to serve as his lover.  He allegedly first began trading toys, clothing and money for sex with the boy when he was 10.

COPS: WAITER HID CAMERA IN LADIES’ ROOM

Raul Martinez, 28, a waiter at the El Leoncito Mexican and Cuban Restaurant on US Route 1, a popular local restaurant, was arrested and charged with voyeurism and child abuse.  He planted a camera in a restroom to secretly videotape hundreds of women and girls using the bathroom.  The child abuse charge stems from the alleged videotaping of children.

CONNECTICUT: SEX OFFENDER LISTINGS ON WEB SET OFF DEBATE

MAN CHARGED IN CHILD-PORN CASE

Lawrence Bargelini, 41, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, punishable by up to 7 years in prison.  He is being held in the county jail in lieu of $50,000 bail after pleading not guilty.  He was allegedly offering other users access to an inventory of more than 200 pornography files on his computer.
