A nurse in Northern Ireland who knew he was facing charges of sexual offences against a teenager continued working in frontline healthcare right up until the week after he was sentenced and placed on the Sex Offenders Register, it has emerged.
The offender, who has since been struck off the nursing register, and the health trust for which he worked are not being identified at this time.

Bexar County law enforcement agencies arrested or indicted 37 people on child sex crime charges in August, according to court records.

The suspects were charged with a an array of crimes, including indecency with a child, sexual assault of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child and super aggravated sexual assault of a child.

August had the second highest number of suspects that were either arrested or indicted on child sex crimes so far this year. In July, 42 people had child sex crime charges,

The chief meteorologist for WBNS 10TV in Columbus, Ohio, was arrested Thursday on charges involving child pornography, the TV station reported.
