A Eugene man and Level 3 sex offender, released from prison in June after serving 24 years for the kidnapping and rape of a child, has been charged with two new crimes.

Christopher Ray Lipska, who also goes by the last name Hare, was charged Wednesday in Lane County Circuit Court with unlawful contact with a child and second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse.

Lipska pleaded not guilty to both charges. He is due back in court for a hearing Sept. 11.

SAN JOSE (KRON) — A man was arrested Thursday in San Jose on several sex crime-related charges after allegedly arranging to meet a 12-year-old boy he talked to online.

Police say the suspect, identified as Roman Guillen, was arrested on felony charges of child pornography, meeting a minor to commit a lewd act and sending harmful material to a child.

The 26-year-old man communicated with the victim online regarding topics of sexual nature, police say.

The victim’s mother then contacted police.

A mother from Foley was arrested Wednesday accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old child and taking pictures of the offense, among other related charges.

Krystal Sanspree, 30, was charged with four counts of producing child pornography, four counts of disseminating child pornography, one count of sodomy, and one count of the sexual abuse of a child under 12, according to Baldwin County Jail records.

The lead singer of a local band was arrested Monday and charged with allegedly downloading child pornography, officials said Thursday.  Dennis J. Grimaldi, 54, of Massapequa Park, faces six charges stemming from two incidents that occurred Oct. 23, 2018, and on Monday, according to felony complaints filed by the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An Amarillo father and son face federal charges over child pornography.  According to court documents, Charles Lee Kruse, 42, and Richard Lee Kruse, 63, were indicted on Thursday, Nov. 29. The older Kruse is accused of producing child pornography, whereas Charles is accused of possessing and distributing.  The investigation into the Kruse’s began in Sept. 2016 when a boy, identified as John Doe, accused Richard of sexually assaulting him.
