WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – “It’s so hard to come out and say something,” said Brett Hudson, closing his eyes as he spoke.
The Wichita man waited eight years to report a family member for sexual abuse.
“It was at my house in my bedroom,” said Hudson. “It was constant for a three year period.”

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A North Charleston church volunteer facing numerous charges after officials said he sexually abused children rejected a plea deal on Friday.
Jacop Hazlett, a former NewSpring Church children’s class volunteer, was first charged in November and December 2018 for incidents related to his time with the church.

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — Convicted child sex abuser Christopher Manuel was given the maximum sentence Wednesday in a Las Cruces courtroom.
In August, Manuel changed his plea of “not guilty” to “guilty” to 10 different counts related to a 2017 arrest.
Manuel was sentenced to 43 years in prison.
The charges include:
• Four counts of criminal sexual contact in the third degree
• Three counts of criminal sexual contact in the second degree
• Two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor

A deputy in the Guerrero state Congress has proposed an initiative that would punish repeat rapists and pedophiles with chemical castration.
Morena party Deputy Marco Antonio Cabada Arias directed the initiative to the federal Congress in order for a change to be made to the constitution.
“The goal of the current initiative is to impose a maximum penalty of chemical castration on repeat rapists and pedophiles, which consists of the provision of medicine that reduces the libido,” he said.
