LACKAWAXEN TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Police say they arrested a sex offender who failed to register and also faces multiple other charges.

According to PSP, Lloyd Swisher, 47, of Greeley, got into a fight with a 51-year-old female and fled the scene as police arrived.

Troopers say upon an extensive search they made contact with Swisher, but he again fled from PSP-Blooming Gove. An arrest warrant was then issued for Swisher.

Eric Joseph Cormier, Jr., 56, has brown hair and brown eyes. He’s 5’7″ in height and weighs 180 pounds. His last known address is the 800 block of W. Bernard St. in Rayne. Cormier is wanted for failure to register as a tier 3 sex offender.

Jonathan Glenn Regan, 44, has blonde hair and brown eyes. He’s 5’10” in height and weighs 205 pounds. His last known address is the 100 block of J. W.

GRUNDY COUNTY, Tenn. (WHNT) — A former Decatur pastor accused of several sex crimes in Morgan County is also facing four additional charges in Tennessee.

Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum told News 19 that Danny Pitts was taken into custody and charged with statutory rape, two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and statutory rape by an authority figure.

Police are looking for a stranger who grabbed a 23-year-old woman walking down the subway stairs and threw her against the bars separating the steps from the platform before sexually attacking her during a morning rush hour last week.

The woman was heading toward a southbound Q train at the Prospect Park station around 7:10 a.m. Thursday when cops say the stranger abruptly attacked her.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A woman was jogging Sunday morning on the Hudson River Greenway in Greenwich Village when she was attacked by a man riding a bike and sexually assaulted, police said.

The attack happened around 6:10 a.m. at Pier 40 near West and Clarson streets, police said.

A West Islip man has been arrested for possessing child pornography, according to authorities.

Police say Nicholas Pedagno, 73, was posing as a younger person on at least eight different social media accounts across seven platforms.

Following a search of his iPad, detectives say his username included lisabutterfly2, love361569 and others.

Neighbors with children were stunned to hear of the accusations.

“I think it’s terrible, it’s not something you want on your block,” says West Islip resident Mike Robertson. “My kids walk home from school down that road every day.”
