Howard Steven Ault, 33, a convicted pedophile and killer was sentenced to death Monday for the murder of two young sisters he strangled after he raped one of them in 1996.  This case led to a new Florida law expanding public access to information on convicted sexual predators.  Ault, convicted August 11th of first degree murder in the deaths of DeAnn Mu’min, 11, and her 7 year old sister, Alicia Jones, was also convicted on two counts of capital sexual battery, kidnapping and aggravated child abuse.  As a result of

A 25 year old mother returned home to find Christopher L. Davis, a 24 year old parolee and acquaintance, in her house.  Davis told the 48 year old grandmother, who was in the house, that the mother had wanted him to wait for her, the mother has denied that story.  Davis allegedly fondled the mother’s 9 year old daughter and another child in the house allegedly witnessed the abuse and alerted the grandmother.  When the mother came home, the women questioned Davis.  When they said they were going to take

Daniel Dequoy, 32, a nursing home employee was arraigned today for allegedly raping a 96 year old woman who lives at the home.  Dequoy was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault in connection with the rape of a resident of the Integrated Health Services of New Hampshire.  The nursing assistant faces a maximum of 7 1/2 to 15 years in prison.  Dequoy was ordered held in the Hillsborough County Jail on $10,000 bail.  His next court appearance is scheduled for March 21st.

Rodolfo Beach, 31, of Rosedale was charged late Friday in three attacks in Queens after his DNA was recovered from a knife he was stabbed with in November and linked him to two of the crimes.  Beach was arraigned on charges of rape, attempted rape, sodomy and robbery.  A 12-year-old girl awoke early one morning to see Beach by her bed, opening his pants.  When the girl’s uncle heard her screams, he responded and stabbed Beach in the torso with a knife.  The DNA samples were collected from blood on

Reverend Carl A. Schipper, 57, a Menlo Park priest has been arrested on charges which may be related to child pornography and sexual abuse.  He is suspected of child sexual abuse and solicitation of sex with minors using the Internet.  He was arrested in Sonoma County and transferred to the custody of police in San Jose.

A 15-year-old Trumbull High School wrestler was allegedly hogtied, pushed into a wall, stuffed inside a locker and held down white teammates forced the handle of a plastic knife into his rectum.  Two other boys were allegedly hogtied with trainer’s tape.  One was thrown into the shower, while the other was covered in garbage.  Eight member of the 15-member team have been arrested, three of them as adults on assault and conspiracy charges that could bring them, in some cases, more than five years in prison.  Charged as adults are
