ST.CLOUD, Minn. (FOX 9)- A priest who had sex with a woman who he was counseling following her previous sexual abuse was sentenced to more than three years in prison Wednesday, according to the Stearns County Attorney’s Office.

Anthony Oelrich was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after he was charged for using the victim’s vulnerabilities against her.

The victim reported Oelrich in 2017 to the St. Cloud Police Department after she sought “spiritual guidance” from him after she was sexually abused.

The charges say the victim was seeking guidance after a prior

rnSouth Shore Pressrnrn Miguel Leon Jr., a 53 year old Medford man who portrayed himself as a spiritual advisor torna Suffolk family, was found guilty of sodomizing two teenage boys, ages 14 and 15, from December ofrn2008 to July of 2009.  Leon, of Sipp Avenue, claimed to be a spiritualist in the Lucumi Yorubarnreligion.  He told the victims that by performing sex acts with him, they would acquirernspiritual energy, power, and a higher level of enlightenment.  He was found guilty of 20rncounts of criminal sex act in the second degree,
